Memoral Day

If tomorrow all the things were gone,I’d worked for all my life. And I had to start again, with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,to be livin here today.‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom, and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,to the hills of Tennessee.Across the plains of Texas,From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to L.A.Well there's pride in every American heart, and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American, where at least I know I’m free. And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.
My friend Jason M. Bogart will forever be missed

A poem: They say you're a fallen hero
Tuesday, April 07, 2009
By Kathy Colbert

They say you're a fallen hero,They say you've given the ultimate sacrifice,We say you've become the light of our city,And every day we will remember at what price.
You will be our guiding light,You will be our hero,You will be the reason we continue to fight,To keep our streets safe day and night.
Some say it's not fair,Some say it's too soon,We say it, too,Which is why we will always respect our men in blue.
The pain to our city is real,Devastation has a cost,It will take time to heal,For such a tragic loss.
Most do not know you,Though they see you every day,For we work in the city,For which your memory will always be displayed.
Not a day goes by we won't see your face,You're presence is well known,Your memory we will embrace,For you are one of our own.
You will be missed,You will be remembered,You will always exist,On April 4 and forever.

The Circus is in town

Of course Amanda and I had to go to the Britney Spears concert. We went a couple years ago when she was here and had so much fun we had to go again! Plus Amanda is a die hard Spears fan! The Pussy Cat Dolls Opened

Brother Sister Time

Since I was gone all day friday in Forks Tyler decided to go spend the weekend with his family in Yakima.

Tyler's favorite thing is to get to play golf with his sister so it was good for him to go spend that time with her before she graduates and goes to college.

Twilight Tour

My mom, Grandma and I drove the long 4 1/2 hours to Forks to take the Twilight tour.

We all had so much fun you would of thought my mom and I brought my grandma to Disneyland she loved it so much.
In front of the Cullen's house
La Push

I have all the pictures of the tour on my facebook page. If you love the books I recommend doing the tour. Its fun so see all the different things they have in that little town that represents the books. We saw Bella's Truck, Forks High school, The Police station, The Swan, Cullens and Jacobs House, We went to La Push and saw the cliff's Bella jumped from and more.

Temple Sealing

The Seattle Temple

Tyler and I are excited that we are now sealed together as a family for time and all eternity.

We are so grateful for such wonderful family members who love and support us.

We are also grateful for all of our friends who were able to come share this special day with us.

When we got to the temple it was beautiful but of course when we came out it was pouring down rain. It reminded us of our wedding day.

Stupid Kids

This is what Tyler saw when he went out to his car to go to work the morning of May 1st. Dont you just love kids who shoot their bee bee guns at peoples back windows just for fun! Apparently as of 10am on May 1st 7 other people had called the police for the same thing all over Covington. ANNOYING!
